There was enough interest expressed from the last poll that we're going to take the next step in planning for SHS 2. We need to decide which publisher's characters to use for SHS 2.

We're planning to make SHS 2 a Multiverse Edition. We haven't worked out all the details yet, but this means that characters from outside of mainstream continuity will be eligible for the draft as long as they fall under the cap. You may want to keep this in mind when voting.

If you select "other", please post your ideas or indicate that you're in favor of someone else's suggestions. If the voting is close, Jim and I reserve the right to make the final decision.

This poll will run for 14 days.

I would like to see team-up battles with one DC and one Marvel character on each team.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.

I voted for combined but I like this team idea. 2 on 2 battles. Can Batman and Hawkeye defeat Captain America and Green Arrow for example. A bit unoriginal, but it is early, cut me some slack.

Great idea. If we go with this, what we're thinking about doing is expanding the rosters to 10 characters, 5 from DC and 5 from Marvel. Managers would need to submit one Marvel and one DC character for each fight. We'd still go with the Multi-verse theme. What do you guys think? If you like the idea, either vote for the Combined option, or vote other and post that you want the "Team-Up" game.

So with the team-up option, every time you lose a match that's both fighters gone? Ouch.

I am definitely on board with combined Marvel and DC characters. I like the team concept as well. Instead of limiting it to the Big 2 how about each team have one hero/villain from an alternate Comic Company?

I think it would be cool to be able to use (just off the top of my head) Hellboy or Flaming Carrot or the Violator. It could be a Wild Card option.

I heartily endorse the Multiverse format!

Will there be a separate poll for Power Cap?

Yes. We need to decide which character base we're using before we can decide on the cap.

That's why we'll double the roster size (10 fighters vs 5) if we go with this option.
