Here's a cool map I found at a yard sale. I'm a sucker for maps and I snapped this one up as soon as I spied it. I like how the coats of arms are all around the border. Has anyone seen anything like this? It's from 1971 and looks to be a tourist map or something.

The countdown to 1,000 Hero Ratings has begun!

95 to go

I have been working on something exciting to give back to the Incredible CCL Community that has treated me so well these past few years. When I hit the 1,000 Hero threshold I will make an announcement that will leave you flush with anticipation! I have been dropping hints and here is another clue: What do you get when you take the 4th word of a 3 issue Marvel mini-series from 1982 and mash it with an annual Spring event that began 20 years later?

I could probably learn more from looking at that map than from all the history classes I've ever had in my life.

There were a lot of broken links in your post, Howie. It's to do with the way photobucket.com post their links now. I find you have to edit some of the code to post them properly. I took the libert of using Moderator powers to clean up your links. Keep an eye on them in future.

btw, I like the map.

Thanks Icky! I will keep an eye on that in the future. This is the kind of map I could look at for hours and still find something new.

I have some older National Geographic magazines, and some the maps in those are fantastic!

Yeah I have a fold up map of the moon from them circa the early 70's. It's awesome.

My inlaws have that map of Scotland framed in their gameroom...
