For the past 8 years there has been a crazy Mardi Gras style Halloween parade that goes right past my house. The first year was bizarre, no one really knew about it and all of a sudden here comes this mob of costumed people following a marching band and they're carrying thess monolithic effigies - it was quite surreal.

Now it's gone from being a couple of hundred people to a couple thousand. It is really quite the spectacle. In the video in the link I posted, the reporter interviewed me and two people I was with. I didn't make the cut but both of them did!Angry Check out the old dude with the white beard and wizard hat. That's my friend Larry Rohr and he is also an actual magician.

My neighborhood (Oregon Hill) has a bad reputation but that's all in the past. 20-25 years or more ago it was a rough-and-tumble place and you wouldn't come here unless you were ready for trouble. I'm happy to say that it has changed for the better and this event is a positive example of that.

Quality. Consistency. Variety. Reliable. Fair. Friendly
