I'd like to make a suggestion to separate the Fully Recolored Editions from the regular Sandman TPB's. I was looking through the DB last night and I have Vol. 1-3 of the Recolored Editions. My #1 is a 4th print and my #2 & 3 are 3rd prints. There is also a variation to the covers between the first prints in the DB already and the 4th and 3rd prints that I have.

For quick reference here is a link to the DB http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/LiveData/CoverTitle.aspx?id=63d8dd3a-94e5-4a7b-be99-331ccd2578e4

I suggest a new title for "Sandman: Fully Recolored Edition"

What is the exact wording of the indicia?

It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.

The exact wording for the three I have show "Sandman:" and then the story arc. Example; Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes. But they are also in volume format according to the spine which I think is just as relevant. I believe they should have their own listing in the DB under Sandman: Fully Recolored Edition, entries 1-10.

Can't do it, unless "Fully Recolored Edition" is part of the title in the indicia. This is a database, we don't make the titles, we just list them.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.

Agreed. As long as the content is the same, these should be variants of the Trades already in the DB.

Yeah. No reason for a new title. These are just retouched versions of the same content. They are new editions (which means the print count starts over again), but that's typical with trades. One title is good.

Without adding a new title, could information about the recoloring be added to the listing (perhaps in the caption field)? Seems like it would be information that some buyers might want (and if some buyers want it, then some sellers will, too).

They should be added as a variant of the original and "Fully Recolored Edition" can be put in the caption.

Most are already in exactly this way.

I saw that. But, of course, I checked after I posted.

Seems like the appropriate solution has already been determined, if not (yet) fully applied.
