Virus - Glitch - Something? Had a POP-Up appear on my page while I was searching the site that read as follows

Web Address is www. tubemovieshd. com says FLV Video is ready for download. Click OK to download. Then there is an OK or Cancel button to click.

First the Movie Spams and now a request to download a FLV Player. Tried to take a screen shot of the page and right click and tools functions won't work. Took a pic with phone will send to Admin if requested.

This (banned) is getting ridiculous. Angry

Just to clarify right click and tools function would not work only on the page the pop-up was on - worked on all the other pages fine.

Surprise More Movie Spam This Morning!

Searched FLV Video and there is a FLV Malware out there - this and Spam - I think it is time to avoid this site for a while. All I need is computer issues.

I run nothing but Windows antivirus and firewall with Malware Bytes ever few weeks and have never had a problem with this site.

Just saying, don't be surprised if CCL's response is to do some basics or that you picked that up elsewhere.

I have MalwareBytes as an active screen on top of Microsoft Security Essentials, and I have never had a malware or virus issue with CCL.

If you're having issues, you might want to consider where else you may have picked something up from and possibly beefing-up your computer's security.

Just saying...

Using something besides IE would be helpful too.
I don't see any ads on this site and I never get pop-ups - Firefox FTW.

I love how every time a popup/virus etc is found here, instead of admins fixing the issue they tell you to use a different browser.

Imagine if the whole world worked like that.

Food tastes spoiled, use a different fork.
Car keeps breaking down, let someone else drive.

etc etc

Why not just fix the popups? Or at least check the site out and verify no malicious software/popups etc are present. I havent used the software in about a month but bet money that popup is still present! Oh but wait I should add all kinds of popup blockers to my IE so stops happening instead of it being removed from here.

I use Firefox and still got it - been off the site since then and have not had it pop-up anywhere else so it definitely was this site.
