I'm finding it really cool that Marvel is giving female superheroes their own title. (X-Men, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow) In March we'll be seeing Captain Marvel and in April we'll be seeing Elektra. I'm probably going to pick up both of these issues. How about you guys? Thoughts?

You & me both! Currently the only all female title I collect is Wonder Woman... that is until they release a QUALITY Zatanna title!

Marvel has a history of releasing female-led titles, and then putting inferior artist/writer teams on them.
This is the third or fourth Ms. Marvel title. A second-straight Captain Marvel with Carol Danvers. They're up to nearly a dozen Black Widow titles, counting minis. A fourth (?) She-Hulk title, and probably a half-dozen Elektra titles.
It's all well and good to "diversify" and release female-led titles, but if you're not going to put a strong writer/artist combo on the titles to generate and sustain interest...
That being said, I've been happy with this latest incarnation of Black Widow. Noto is an awesome artist, and the writer is trying to lay down some storyline roots.
The first issue of Ms. Marvel has me optimistic. The first issue of She-Hulk already suffers from craptastic art.
Over in DC, I collected and read Wonder Woman for 25 issues, but Azzarello just can't seem to get things to a place where I give a damn. I grew tired of his endlessly continuing God-based storyline. In the end, I just didn't care anymore.
The Zatanna book before DC borked their entire line with the N52 was pretty good. I enjoyed it while it lasted. Not a fan of the current Zatanna, however.
I have been enjoying Batgirl and Birds of Prey (Gothtopia non-withstanding).

I think i would enjoy the storyline 20x better if Tony S. Daniel did the art. I really love his Superman/Wonder Woman work.

Yup, I agree.

I've enjoyed the seperation of the DCU from the WW series, but it is getting to be time to wrap it up.

Again, I agree!

While I do love TD's art, I really enjoy Cliff Chiang's art as well and think it fits WW quite nicely. IMHO.

You're getting your wish. Azzarello's run is wrapping up some time this year.

Any word on who's replacing him and is the art team changing as well?

I believe that Cliff Chiang is leaving at the same time as Azzarello. No word on their replacements.
