There was an unscheduled maintenance today on CCL. We had some reports of people unable to upload issues for sale. We apologize for the downtime. Seems a process was hung. While we were down, we did a little clean up work as well.

Everything should be back up and working much better. Let me know if you experience any technical problems.

Again, Sorry for the downtime.

Joe

Scheduled maintenance is much more professional, especially if you're going to take the site down during business hours

Would you rather Joe just let the problem sit all day and cause more problems, or do you want it fixed right away?

That's what I was thinking.

Glad you were able to take care of it quickly Joe.

Better to fix it before it gets worse and causes other issues - no matter what time of day that happens. Sure, scheduled downtime is always better but you can't always schedule when something will break.

Preventative maintenance is always best but that would require actually paying attention to the site. Hard to do when you put CCL on the back burner.

Jumped out here to check to see if all is well. We had a hung sql process. So sorry about that. We are still not sure what caused it to hang, but we caught it early. Looking into a couple of things. We are watching, but if you experience anything weird let us know.

thanks.

Thanks Joe!

I appreciate the update. Everything is smooth on my end.

The countdown to 1,000 Hero Ratings has begun!

74 to go

I have been working on something exciting to give back to the Incredible CCL Community that has treated me so well these past few years. When I hit the 1,000 Hero threshold I will make an announcement that will leave you flush with anticipation! I have been dropping hints and here is another clue: What do you get when you take the 4th word of a 3 issue Marvel mini-series from 1982 and mash it with an annual Spring event that began 20 years later?
