I'll probably only see one of them opening weekend, and I'm guessing it will be Superman/Batman.

I'll see one on Saturday and the other on Sunday - first show of the day both times, I hate crowds.

I will see both as well. But Captain America 3 first for me. I also hate crowds. Nothing is better than watching a movie in an almost empty theater.

my town only has two screens and the one is usually used for what was playing the week before so I'll watch whichever one they are showing first.

I think Marvel is shooting themselves in the foot. Sure, we comic fans may prefer the Marvel movies. But the casual audience is far more familiar with Superman and Batman.

Casual fans can also easily identify Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America...

Ask my wife the secret identity of Hulk or Captain America, and she couldn't tell you. But she can tell you Batman is Bruce Wayne or Superman is Clark Kent. And a lot of people are at that point that don't read comics at all because of Superman and Batman's long-time mainstream media exposure.

Good point! I guess a lot of people would say the Hulk was David Banner because of the old TV show, too.

While it might be true that the casual moviegoer knows Superman and Batman better than the Marvel Heroes (and I stress might), it's not just comic fans that are excited about Marvel films. The Marvel Cinematic Univers is now the top domestic grossing franchise in history. People are going to go see these movies in mass numbers. And with Guardians, Avengers 2, and Ant-Man all leading up to Cap 3, versus nothing prior to Batman vs Superman, that's a lot of momentum on marvel's side for DC to overcome, Personally, I'll take Cap 3 over Supes/Bats.

I enjoyed Cap 2, but not to the degree everyone else seems to have. Personally I rate it behind Thor 2 & Iron Man 3. I also think Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant Man aren't going to do all that great. For me Superman Vs Batman is second on my list of movies to see, right after Avengers 2.
