I had a little fortuitous time today. I needed some more bags and boards so I stopped by the LCS and got:

Walking Dead #70-#95 (2003,nm) all @ cover price

I glanced over that area when I was checking out and saw some new, pristine b&b in that slot (which is normally empty). So I said "huh, new Dead books eh?" The store owner told me that they had someone come in and trade those in because they had the tpb now. I (too?) eagerly snapped 'em up and told her if they come in trading the earlier ones to set them aside for me and I'll buy em too :)

+1

Big signatures are REALLY annoying.

I had to go out of town today for a work-related function and thought I'd check out the one store I found in the area (via Google). Not too awful much to report but there were a few that caught my eye:

Adventure Time (2012,nm) #2, #3 cover
Detective Comics (1937,vf/nm) #570, #571, #573 $2.50/ea
Spectacular Spider-man (1976,nm) , #131, #132, #147 $1/ea
Swamp Thing (2011,nm) #1 $2.50
X-O Manowar (1992,nm) #1 $2

He did have a handful of older comics behind the counter, mostly reader copies but this one gem:

House of Secrets (1956,vf) #134 $5.00

Big signatures are REALLY annoying.

Filled in a few holes in my 'wanted' list, much rejoicing:

Harley Quinn (2000,nm) #6 / next-to-last HQ for set

Marvel Two-In-One (1974, nm) Annual #2 / death of Thanos;end of Thanos saga
New Teen Titans (1980, nm) #2 / 1st app. Deathstroke

Like 'em all but this one stood out to me:

I've been looking for a full run of Wasteland (2006) from Oni Press on eBay for the past couple of months and just gave up on it and opted to look for individual issues instead. I scored pretty big at one of my LCS's yesterday when I found issues #8,10-13,15-19, and 21-24 all for $1 each!

Tried a new CCL seller and I must say I was very pleased. Spot-on grading, cheap shipping and timely delivery - Collectibles, Etc hit the mark on each one. Today I received:

G.I. Joe (2008) #27-A
Ghost Rider (2006) #'s 27-29

Not a large order by any means, but I'll definitely buy from them again.
