Depending on your definition of 'modern age', yeah I'd go with TMNT #1 or Gobbledygook #1.

I always thought modern age was like a 12 year period at max. In the early 90s the modern age didn't seem to address things from the 70s. Modern to me would always be last ten years.

-Modern Age - 1992-Current Yeah, my brain still holds onto the *old* modern age. Also, I'm not familiar with Atom Age. Is that a relatively new wrinkle it it? Well, if modern age is that now, the I guess Walking Dead #1 would probably be it.

Grimm Fairy Tales (Wizard World Philly #1). I'd roughly say it's worth between $650-800 in NM. A VF copy sold for about $425. All are hand numbered to 500 copies and autographed by the creators (Ralph Tedesco and Joe Tyler). Their is one on the bay @ $199.99. I DOUBT it will go for that, but you never know. Keep your eyes peeled on it, and watch the price climb and climb as more people find it online.

I got 3/5 worthwhile books. New Mutants 87 and 98 along with NYX 3. Spiderman 300 rounds the list.

Good call on walking dead. I wouldn't count the Grimm. Ultimate SM1 and maybe 2 I am not familiar with. I collected as a child and my top book was X men 266 which has potential. As an older and wiser collector I buy first appearances only, predominantly silver age.

Actually I think the "current" age will always be the Modern Age. What we need is a name for the last 20 years. Personally I think the new Modern Age has just started with the DC 52 and Marvel Now. What better time to start a new age.
