Sorry if this is a newb question but is there a way to report out or even export the data from custom fields??

I had the same question earlier this year and the answer was no. Maybe that has changed...doubt it i just looked.
Seems crazy to me that there is functionality to allow custom fields but you can't print or report.

There is no current method to generate reports that include custom fields. Wish I had a better answer for you.
