Definitely looks interesting. And it's the Wachowskis, so you know at the very least it will be a visually striking movie.

I just hope its done like the book with half of each story being told then interrupted by half the next etc. Rather than jumping back and forth between stories throughout

Although I haven't read the book, it appears from the trailer that the movie has a strong love story at it's core. If Halle Berry and Tom Hanks have good chemistry and can sell it, this movie will kill it at the box office. Most action/sci-fi/adventure movies are hugely successful if they have a strong emotional core to them (I'm thinking Titanic and The Abyss, among others).
