Wow, what a waste of Greg Land's talent. The comic looked beautiful thanks to Land, but the story was as lazy as lazy gets. It's a complete rehash of the Extremis story we already read 5 years ago! And the new brown & yellow armor of his that all the Iron Man fans are curious about, is also a complete waste. I see no reason for Tony to change his armor, and his reasons in comic are summed up in statement he made in the comic that went something along the lines of, "New armor was on my wishlist." ...seriously? That's the entire reason? And it didn't show off any new abilities or cool new weapons or anything. So the armor change is ONLY cosmetic as far as I can tell. I'm quite disappointed since most of Marvel Now is mutant focused and I'm not an X-fan. I had hopes that this might be something I could get into from Marvel that didn't have to do with mutants. Now all my hopes are hanging on "Avengers" and "Superior Spider-Man". ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

Too early to judge a series after one issue. I hate Greg Land's work though.

Not a great #1, but worth following the first arc.

If you look at the latest solicits from Previews for February's issue, you'll see the book is taking a radical change already, and already dropping the brown & yellow armor (seriously, who thought those were good colors?). So the creators aren't even sticking to their guns past the first storyarc. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

Not trying to defend the brown and yellow, but the new costume shown in the previews for issue #6 and in the new solicits for #7 & #8 that came out today must have something to do with his addition to Guardians - same get-up from the front cover of that new #1. I agree, though. When the preview for issue #6 states that it's a bold, new direction for the character, paint me skeptical.
