Image is now talking no second printings. To hopefully not miss out on anything I might be interested in, I wanted people's opinions on two series coming out from Image.

Introductory 1.00 Issue for #1
I ask for opinions, simply because I don't generally read Image, at all. But both of these sounded interesting when I read the descriptions in Previews, and people here are usually honest in their opinions.
And really, this is the kind of talk Image needs to foster. Get people talking about their comics.

there are lots of good ones. i haven't read those but bedlam, clone, nowhere men, saga, thief of thieves... all excellent books. so much so that i've pretty much dropped all my marvel book and DC books

Order them. If you don't like them, sell them or give them away, or just add them to your collection and forget them.
If you do like them, there ya go.

 sound advice. thats basically what comic readers do anyways. it was easier when books were a buck and 1.50 though lol

Well, if it were "what Batman titles should I get" I'd have different advice, but these are two books, one of which IS $1 for the first issue.
And, it's $3-4 a month. Again, if we were talking the dozen Batman-related titles, or the dozen Avengers/X-Men related titles, it'd be different. But it's $4. Skip the Big Mac once this month, and transfer that Big Mac money to a couple of comics.
And really, if you THINK it sounds interesting, it'll probably be interesting to you.

fact. i scooped up those 1 dollar titles my self. mainly cuz i missed them being done so it was a good way for me to get in there. what would it hurt ya know?

I was just updating my pull list for my LCS and Image is now 50% of my monthly comics. 15 out of 30 titles are Image. I dids my own math.

yeah the only books that aren't image for me are TMNT which is IDW and batman. i'm getting Superior spider-man to see how it pans out but i'll most likely drop it after # 2

I'm thinking of grabbing Son of Merlin. I mean, come on, where can you get a book for a buck? They have to be pretty confident in the book to sell it for a buck. Image is easily my favorite publisher right now. Great Pacific, I love Trouble, Saga, Clone, Thief of Thieves, Walking Dead, are all books that I am getting right now. Another upcoming Image title that I am interested in is East of West by Jonathan Hickman. I think it comes out in Feb.

I did decide to add them both to my list. I read articles by both of them. I also agreed with the, "It's a 1.00 for issue 1, how can you go wrong attitude." Then I discovered they are both miniseries so I decided to add them to my list. I just had two mini series I collect end, it was good timing, you know.
