Quote:"The Comic Collector Live Software is the most professional software and server interface ever designed for the industry! Our team of developers has spent thousands of hours putting together a program that is taking the industry by storm! Imagine having desktop software that does everything you ever dreamed a program would do! I'd like to point out as much as I like CCL and the FACT it is a great database, some recent topics and discussions seem to be met with some alarming (at least to me) responses by the approvers here, eventually being thrown to the old "stop beating a dead horse" response, and subsiquent closing of the discussions. I'd like the APPROVERS and especially the those that are in charge around here and on CCl, that quote above makes a pretty strong case that some members here on CCL, who pay for and run their businesses here, are doing just what you say they should be doing. "IMAGINE HAVING DESKTOP SOFTWARE THAT DOES EVERYTHING YOU EVER DREAMED A PROGRAM WOULD DO!I take that sentence very much to heart. It is a CCL goal, and stated very well. When store owners and software users express themselves, with suggestions and tips how they want to see things certain ways, the Approvers should first and FOREMOST remember that saying before brushing off any idea as beating a dead horse. Just a thought that came to mind while reading some posts today. Join the store on FACEBOOK! * All items must be returned prior to refund at your expense. Return shipping not refunded.

I really don't think the approvers (or any other CCL Higher-Up) has ever "brushed off" any topics regarding things could be changed/added to the database. I believe all topics and suggestions have been discussed quite thoroughly on these boards, and I say that as one who participated in many of the threads. The comment about "beating a dead horse" was in response to a poster who frequently complains about a certain feature/rule to the database, and the response by the approvers has been emphatic enough that the topic really doesn't need to be continually brought up.

You seem to have a false idea as to what the Approvers do. The Approvers research change requests and then approve them or reject them based on the guidelines set up by CCL. We are not developers and we are not policy makers. Any opinions we give are either what CCL wants or our own. There are many things that I would like to see changed on CCL, but until that day comes along it is my job to support the current policies. Its like obeying the law. There are laws I would like to see changed, but until that happens I have to obey the current version. If you want things changed let CCL know your feelings and then do like I'm doing, wait and hope it happens, but don't think that because a certain idea seems good to you it's going to seem good to everyone else.

NONE of the approvers are "in charge around here and on CCl" unless you count Steven Boyd and Joe Butler who have access as approvers but rarely if ever exercise their ability to use that access. You want to get in touch with the Powers That Be? I just named 'em. There are only 2 people here who can do anything about your concerns my friend - shoot a PM, email 'em, or even give them a phone call. They've both posted their phone numbers numerous times in various threads. It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.Xylob's Most Wanted: G.I.Joe Special Missions TPB 2 Tales from the Transformers Beast Wars: Critical Mass Transformers: Timelines #3 - either cover, no preference. Problems with CCL? 615-264-4747 Offices are open M-F 8am-5pm Central Time. You can also e-mail the Chief Brand Officer directly to try to resolve questions/stuff at steve@golocomedia.com for help with password resets, general customer service questions, store order resolution, credit card store updating, questions about comic books and CCL, etc...
