Although this most likely will not flourish into a reboot of the comic series, information on a prequel comic by Dark Horse has been released on the Tomb Raider site as a bonus video game pre-order incentive at "participating retailers". I have the special edition pre-oredered at Game Stop, but I have yet to find out if this will be available there due to the news of the comic having been released a couple weeks ago and I set up my pre-order quite a few months ago and haven't been back in Game Stop to ask (I know the comic is separate from the contents of the special edition). I see that Best Buy is one of the retailers that will have it, but I haven't found information on anywhere else. Because this is a special and most likely one shot comic release, I am unsure if there is any other way for me to track it down outside of trying to purchase it off the internet somewhere. In the event that I cannot locate it in March when the game is released (along with the circulation of the comic book), is there any of you on CCL that may be able to obtain a copy for sale?

The prequel comic is only available at Best Buy as a preorder bonus. However, this will most likely be reprinted in the first hardcover installment that dark horse has planned. Pretty much the same thing Dark Horse did with the Darksiders 2 prequel comic that Best Buy had.
