Does anyone know of a good on-line comic book grading guide? I've been looking around for something that's comprehensive, detailed, easy to use and cheap (or preferably free!). Currently I have been using Nostomania which is fine but the grade descriptions are very short and somewhat repetitive. I frequently have a question about a particular flaw with a book and there is no mention of it in the grade description. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I guess I could always plunk down the dough for a hard copy of Overstreet's. Thanks all!

Check out Hall of Heroes for hard to find Gold & Silver Age comics! Marvel! DC! Gold Key/Whitman! ACG! Dell! Archie! I also have a diverse selection of Independent and Underground books for sale - with more on the way!

I have been using a combination of Mile High's specifications, and what I see as examples from others as I order comics. Not sure if I can post a link there, so if you just google "mile high grading", it will get you to it.

I have also found googling "comic very fine example", for example, helps when I'm really on the fence about a grade.

Other than that - I have not found anything real comprehensive (pics + detailed descriptions/allowances) yet.

Sometimes Amazon has out of date grading guides on the cheap. I have a 2003 Overstreet that I only paid like $5 for.
