I have noticed that occasionally when I'm searching in the Library that a certain issue will say x number of comics are for sale but when you click on Market Stats the number is wrong.

For example, look at G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero #38-B in the Library. It says 9 for sale at $1.47 and up but when you go to Market Stats (or just click on the issue) it shows only one copy for sale at $2.75

I guess it's not that big of a deal and I haven't noticed that problem in the Shop category. Any explanation?

As an aside, I have noticed that G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero is now showing up as an IDW comic. I know that IDW is now the current publisher but I believe that the issues from #1 to #155 were actually published by Marvel...Think

Closing in on 600 Hero Ratings! Now with more than 16,000 comics listed and thousands more to come! To all of my Fantastic Customers I say, Thank You! Keep watching.

I think the 1st thing is attributed to store that have it, but are not currently open, not sure.

Yes the Marvel and IDW titles were linked awhile back and are chronicled correctly by the CCL approvers. If you ask this questions in the Change Request section, you get a more precise answer.

I believe those $1.47 prices are attributed to Brett's increased prices just before he bailed. From what I've read on other threads, there is a bug in the system where a former store's listings show up as ghosts if they don't close their store properly (ie, I think they have to actually de-list all items for it to be totally removed from the market).

Or something like that.

IDW was the last publisher added to the title listing under the Publishers box, which I'm guessing is why it now lists is by IDW. However, straight from the library search listing:

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero
(Comic Book)
Marvel / IDW 1982 - Current [Marvel Published Issues #1 - 155. IDW Begins Publication with Issue #155 1/2]

The "Key Publisher" is IDW. That's because it is the current publisher and that way automatically populates new issues with IDW as the publisher. However, as Tamwood pointed out, the change is noted in the title caption and every Marvel issue has Marvel in its individual publisher field.

Unfortunately, there haven't been updates to the software since the individual issue publisher field was put in place, so the software still shows the publisher as IDW. If you look at the website though, you'll see each is Marvel.

General rule of thumb, if you want to see all the information entered about a title or issue, look online, not at the software.
