Alot better than I thought it would be.

Kinda like a Dirty Harry Robocop mix.

Nice.

I went in expecting the worst and came out hoping for a sequel. I liked it a lot.

I also liked it a great deal. Good action, decent story, liked the acting. Enjoyed it enough that I picked it up on sale the other day.

Just watched it for the first time myself. It was a good movie. A bit gory for my taste but I realize that's it was being true to the source material. You can understand why it didn't do that well in the theaters. It wasn't that is was bad it just had that niche audience appeal.

If I would have known, I would have run out to see it then.

Here's hoping for a sequel or 2.....

What I loved the most was that they understood what it meant to make the character. His helmet was on the entire movie. That was great. I don't know how many times I watch a movie like this and they have the superhero/hero unmasked/helmeted most of the time.

I wanted to see this, then I forgot about it.

After reading all this I think I'll pick it up and watch it tonight.

I'm glad to hear the helmet stayed on, as it should.

I'll post again with my thoughts after I watch it.

WOW! I watched it when it first hit bluray and thought it sucked.I cant remember now what really bugged me about it but going to watch again tonight.

I know I am in a minority here but I actually liked the 1st one. I thought Shcneider was funny, loved the huge robot and most of all enjoyed that they put the Angel family in it even though they killed them all.

Thanks to the following sellers for helping me put together my complete run of Amazing Spider-man #1-700

Ok watched it again and now I remember why I didnt like it and why the 1st one is still better.

1. I hated the start when they used stock footage of riots! This is a huge pet peeve of mine, when they use 3rd world riots in futuristic movies.

2. I think the bikes were so so much better in 1st movie, in second movie it looks like they forgot about them until the day of shooting and said oh wait throw on a giant box on top and paint black. UGLY

3. I HATE SLO-MO, in any movie. This drug has been used in movies and books before and cant stand it. They make way too many mistakes on it, plus wasnt fan of the scenes. It was like director found a new lens and said wow shoot with this. Had nothing to help movie.

4. I thought the 1st one made crime more like in the books. In the books everything is a crime and everyone breaks the law even if they dont know it. I thought they showed that when Schneider was sentenced.

Now enjoyed the acting so much more in 2nd one, and the action kept me entertained just had few things that bugged me.

Oh and it bugged me Dredd kept complaining about running out of bullets when the ground was littered with guns, lol

wasn't it a bad thing if they lost their weapon discarded for another weapon? i know for the rookie it was but am i remembering wrong from the books?
