I plan on getting that for my daughter this week (she is 13) anyone read any sort of reviews for it? Is it a "archie" comic (PG rating) or is it more going after the walking dead (R rating)

I get my comics during my lunch hour at work so i don't have time to thumb through comics I pick up and go.

Alot of the preview sites list it as Non-All Ages - but that could mean a Teen rating - i doubt Archie would put out a Mature title - I was thinking of picking it up myself because it just seems so wrong - Riverdale and Zombies Devil

Well I previewed it at home before the girls got home, there is nothing in my mind that would even give it T+ rating it has on the cover, i've seen and heard worse on a family tv show.

Not yet, it was more like the first 15 minutes of every zombie movie ever made. I'm sure my girls will like it though.

I read AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE #1 and loved it. Other than some blood (minimal) and some black arts (witchcraft) I didn't see any reason why my 10-12 year old could read it. Little dark subject matter, but nothing worse than an old copy of GOOSEBUMPS ;) I'm on board this for the duration!

I've never been an Archie guy but I enjoyed the first issue. Think I'll pick up the 2nd issue this week...

My daughter loved it, she likes the normal archies too. which is cool because I used to read lots of archies as a kid. I'm pretty sure I first started reading as a kid it was with archies...

My wife is from China and she reads Archie comics to help her learn everyday English. I read the digest sized comics when in the bathroom. You can't go wrong with Archie comics.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.

Anyone read issue 2 yet?

I'm slightly disappointed with it Raised Eyebrow

I understand it has a teen rating but, one scene in the book where two teenaged lesbian characters are having a conversation on "doing it" behind their parents back seems a little out of line. There is quite a few other sexual references thrown about but, can kind of be played off just like in a disney/nick tv show. Not so much with that one page.

Maybe Im just old and crabby or read into it too much but, something that's pg and meant for kids should'nt be walking that line.

the line of having underage sex, reguardless of the sexual orientation. that's more in the realm of R to me.
