Dark Avengers wasn't as dark as past issues and it was rather humorous than past issues. Who knew Venom could be so funny. A lot of insight into Moonstone and Bullseye and their relationship. And that final page is a doozie! Even better you get more hints that Norman is losing control. I love how Bendis is slowly unraveling Norman as Dark Reign goes on. These scenes were he snaps or just zones out are great. I also think this is some Deodato's best work so far. A really solid issue as usual.

Bring back New X-Men and Immortal Iron Fist!

Iron Man's been great for a Long time, even though it was a year-long arc ( I grew impatient, I'm not proud of it) and this was the payoff. Just outstanding. Couldn't have been done better. This sets up the return of the Avengers Trinity.

So many great books from Marvel this week (Dark Avengers, Wolverine, Wolverine Origins, Punisher Noir, surprisingly Spiderwoman and especially Might Avengers) and Thunderbolts too.

Dark Avengers #10

Still have a bunch of issues from this week's pile to finish, but this read is going to be tough to beat. What a fantastic issue! Bendis has this classic horror vibe going in this issue that really works well. I'm starting to feel sorry for Sentry who; every time a writer wants to prove how tough an opponent is, gets his a$$ kicked! Great art and an even better story. And for those of you who were wondering where Molecule Man has been hiding...this might be a good issue to pick up!

9.5/10

Would have given it a 10 if they would have dragged out the scenes with the Dark Avengers in the Town of Dinosaur a little more (Would have been cool to see each member snatched one at a time!)

I only recognized a few faces in that last page of Dark Avengers. Can anyone clear up the names in that group?

Looks like:

Zarthos (flaming head)
Molecule Man (In the chair)
Enchantress (on the ground)
Beyonder??? (the big guy - look at his outfit and the hair)
The demon guy looks really familiar but I am drawing a blank....

My guesses.

The demon guy looks to me like Mephisto. Well, we'll find out in a month anyway.

The Invincible Iron Man #19

The final issue to the "World's Most Wanted" story arc was well worth the wait. Fraction really found his legs as this reincarnation of built momentum. A great piece of story telling matched with okay art (Larroca) made for a great ride, and a perfect set-up for reuniting Cap, Thor and Iron Man.
The page that had Norman Osborn saying,"Who the hell is Doctor Danald Blake?", was one of those fist pumping, scream, "YEAH!" in air (even though nobody else is in the room!) kind of moments.
I'm really excited for the next story arc and am really glad Marvel was able to follow up Director of SHIELD with this great book.

8/10

Thunderbolts #137

Guess I should have looked closer at the cover which had a picture of Iron Fist and Luke Cage on it. Or maybe read the title which said,"Power Man & Iron Fist join the Thunderbolts." Either way, I was suprised to see this issue was about Iron Fist and Luke Cage. I had no idea!
This was a very good issue. There is lots of good fight scenes and some battles between characters who fanboys have always argued over who would win.
Norman Osborn continues to unravel and the Thunderbolts continue to prove that they arepretty much useless.
If the ending would have been a little stronger, this may have been my favurite book of the week.

8/10

I think Mephisto also but I was thinking Nightmare as the other guy. That would go with the Dark Realm pantheon team. Like that one issue of X-men Infernus where it showed the big wigs of Limbo and such.

Just got my books from last week.

I chose Legacy, but I really think I liked Wolverine: Origins a bit better. I loved the exchanges between Logan and Banner.
