Who is your favorite Batman artists? There have been several over the years doing Batman, Detective, Dark Knight, etc.
My faves are:
David Finch Tony S. Daniel Breyfogle Tom Mandrake Jim Aparo
I think my fave has to be Aparo. He didn't do anything fancy or try to overdo anything but still makes the comic appealing to the reader art-wise. Check out a couple examples of Aparo's nice Batman work below... The breaking of the Bat! And then there's this great yet sad scene done by Aparo. He really did a good job of facial emotions on Batman. You can see the saddness in Batman here.
My Pull List
Marvel: All New X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Superior Spiderman, Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy.
DC: Aquaman, Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Earth 2, Green Lantern, Justice League, Justice League of America, Savage Hawkman, Superman.
Dark Horse: Star Wars

Jim Aparo was THE Batman artist of my youth. I also like Jim Lee, Norm Breyfogle, Irv Novick and Frank Quitely's work on the Dark Knight Detective.
Neal Adams has blown it for me with his p155 poor Batman Odyssey.

Neal Adams, Jim Aparo, Irv Novick, Marshall Rogers and Paul Gulacy. Jim Lee's run on the original "Hush" arc deserves serious respect too.

I thought I was the only one who loved Jim Aparo on Batman.
I also really like Kelley Jones' Batman. I'll throw him a mention.
