And of course Trouble with Tribbles and City on the Edge of Forever. I think one of my all time favorites was the unaired pilot The Cage with Capt. Pike and Spock. I still have that one on VHS even though I don't own a VHS player... Shop At My Store!!

Troubles With Tribbles was good too. Have you ever seen the DS9 episode where the station crew goes onto the original Enterprise during the Trouble with Tribbles episode? I think that DS9 episode is called "Trials and Tribulations".

I don't know why, but for some reason " The Devil in the Dark" has always stuck with me. ( It's the one where Spock mind-melds with a lava rock monster that's terrorizing the mining tunnels of Janus) Another favorite of mine s " Piece of the Action, A" where the crew gets straded on Sigma Iotia which has mimicked human civilization of the 1920's Chicago Mobster era.

I remember it because of the "No Kill I" line. And of course any episode with Mudd in it

Amok Time, I think that was the name of the one where Spock fights Kirk to marry T'Pring (or something like that)

I think that "Space Seed" and "Mirror, Mirror" are on the top of most people's lists; they certainly are on mine! I also really like "Journey to Babel" where we meet Spock's parents.

i didn't feel like starting an entire new thread for this, but if i don't get any responses i will...
i'm looking for the entire original series on DVD. i see that there was a release in 2004 that has some remastering. i see that there was also a release in 2008 that had invasive remastering.
just from reading the reviews on amazon, i'm thinking that the 2004 release is for me.
but the amazon reviews are also cryptic... stating some have unlabeled discs, one of the sets doesn't have the (unaired?) pilot, and then there's the split opinions on remastering = awesome, and remastering = sacrilege.
what do you guys have? what have you heard / seen?
any information would be helpful, thanks!
