The most powerful movie trailer I've seen in years.

Discuss.

Definitely looks interesting. And it's the Wachowskis, so you know at the very least it will be a visually striking movie.

Watch it again. Then maybe one more time after that. It actually requires the viewer to think about what they're seeing/hearing, rather than spoon feeding everything to them.

I won't be able to see this in theaters. I'll want to rewind, replay and rewatch too much.

I just hope its done like the book with half of each story being told then interrupted by half the next etc. Rather than jumping back and forth between stories throughout

Although I haven't read the book, it appears from the trailer that the movie has a strong love story at it's core. If Halle Berry and Tom Hanks have good chemistry and can sell it, this movie will kill it at the box office. Most action/sci-fi/adventure movies are hugely successful if they have a strong emotional core to them (I'm thinking Titanic and The Abyss, among others).

Just saw Cloud Atlas last night.

Yeah, I dug it. Contrary to some critics, I didn't find the movie confusing at all. The movie involved six seperate storylines that are all connected in some way, with the film cutting back and forth between the stories at varying degrees of speed. Really don't see how people were unable to follow these storylines all at once.

I could go into this movie in detail, but don't want to waste time typing if no one is reading. But if you like movies that make you think and force you to pay attention to all the details going on--this is the movie for you. If you don't like originality in films and prefer to turn your brain off for the same old Hollywood schtick, then I believe Paranormal Activity 4 has just come out, or whatever.
