Just a heads up, when you reply it quotes everything in the message so you're quoting ALL those comic pics again and making what a one-sentence reply into a 3 page reply. If you would just cut out the quote and reply and it'll make it a lot easier to navigate the thread! Thanks! Big signatures are REALLY annoying.

Hey Oak--did you submit those early 8.5 Amazings yourself, or did you buy them already graded?

If you can tell.I like to buy 7.0 to 9.2 books that present much better than the grade given.Like that 7.0 white page Amazing Spider-Man #50,it looks awesome in person.Or that 9.2 Marvel Premier #15 in 9.2,book looks like a 9.8 in hand.

Which makes it even better! The highest grade book i have are some 7.0 Justice League that aren't as old as those maybe in the late 70s. This is just one of them:

I've been guilty of using the scattershot method of collecting, just picking up whatever catches my fancy at the time. I really need to abandon this and focus on key issues that I'm realyl interested in. I probably would do best to identify what I really really want and put my funds away in a jar or something Big signatures are REALLY annoying.
