I made a list of my top 25 cartoons of all-time. Thought I'd share with my fellow CCL'ers to critique. Obviously, being a comic book fan, I'm gonna have a lot of comic cartoons on this list. I'm also a child of the late 80s and 90s, which definetly shows on this list: 1. Justice League/Justice League Unlimited (Same show, it just changed names after season 2 ended) 2. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes 3. Batman: The Animated Series (90s) 4. Gargoyles 5. Spider-Man (90s) 6. X-Men (90s) 7. Dragonball Z (before Kai) 8. Superman: The Animated Series (90s) 9. Ronin Warriors 10. The Real Ghostbusters 11. The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor 12. Thundercats (80s) 13. G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (80s) 14. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (80s) 15. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (80s) 16. Thundar: The Barbarian 17. The Record of Lodoss War 18. Green Lantern: The Animated Series 19. Transformers: Robots in Disguise (80s) 20. The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest (90s) 21. Skeleton Warriors 22. Reboot 23. G Gundam 24. Transformers: Beast Wars (90s) 25. Captain N: The Game Master (a.k.a. Captain Nintendo, and often featuring a Legend of Zelda short as well!) What do you guys think? Agree? Disagree? Have a list of your own to share? ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

I'm going to exclude all the DCAU because they cannot be beat and just go old-school. Yeah, I'm a child of the '70s.
Jonny Quest ('60s version) Space Ghost Herculoids Thundarr, The Barbarian Tarzan and the Super 7

Since its already done then I'll add CHALLENGE of the SUPERFRIENDS and the SUPER POWERS SHOW. Both aired on Saturday mornings and I remember getting up bright and early to watch them.

Those are all great shows but I think that the best show, bang for the buck, has got to be Star Blazers. It has an incredible continuing storyline, humor, action, romance, characters actually dying and simply the best villains ever. I loved it that the heroes didn't all get along with each other all the time. They were actual people, not cardboard stereotypes. They had feelings, emotions, SECRETS! I was floored when Sandor was revealed to be a cyborg. All of the characterizations seemed very real to me. I even had a crush on Nova! I tell you what, when I was 11 years old and the end of the show arrives and I hear "The Star Force only has (whatever) amount of days to save the Earth! Hurry Star Force!" drove me crazy! I couldn't wait 24 hours until the next show. I would furiously run home from the school bus stop every afternoon so I could catch the opening credits and sing along with the theme song. It's quite catchy. And oh, their names! Derek Wildstar! Captain Avatar! Mark Venture! Dr. Sane! Sgt Knox the Space Marine! I could go on and on. When you think about it, the bad guys were really BAD. They were killers and seemed overwhelming and invincible. Desslok was downright creepy and sinister. The Comet Empire was even more threatening. Heck, the Star Force lost a bunch of battles, the Argo was beaten up and battered. They just barely kept it going sometimes. It made their victories seem even more heroic. Man, I haven't even gotten to the action yet. And there was a lot of it. Huge space battles, fighter planes, bopper guns, astral hazards - but most importantly - the Wave Motion Gun! Just the sight of that World War II era battleship outfitted for inter-stellar flight with a GIGANTIC cannon built into the front would send a shiver down my spine. I couldn't decide If I wanted to be a Space Marine or fly with the Black Tigers. I also thought it was pretty cool that they showed some of the inner workings of the ship, engine room, etc. Totally made it feel more realistic to me. So, that is my humble opinion. Howie Hall of Heroes Check out Hall of Heroes for hard to find Gold & Silver Age comics! Marvel! DC! Gold Key/Whitman! ACG! Dell! Archie! I also wanted to chime in on the Silver Surfer toon. It was excellent and ground breaking for its time. Vastly under-appreciated.
