Just to clarify for my own good, is there a space between the story title and story bio? I ask because I use a space and sometimes it stays there when approved, other times it disappears, i.e.:

"The Jones Boys"
The day started out hot an dry...

"The Jones Boys"

The day started out hot an dry...

V/R

"Head to the future,
Run from the past,
Hide from the mirror,
And live in a glass,
What dreams forget the whiskey remembers
" (Eric Church/Marv Green)

I don't think there are any hard rules around that but it sure looks better to me with a space.

I think it looks better without the space, especially when a book has multiple stories in it.
It just starts to look sloppy/messy IMO, but I suppose a big part of that is the page layout CCL uses for individual issues.

It's better with a space between. The only times that should be allowed are when extra verbiage is included like, "continued from...." But, even in those cases, the start of the first paragraph should be after a space.

I also agree with Winston about the extra verbiage exception.
