I've definitely seen an uptake in the number of orders I've had in the last few months. IDK if it's because a few of the larger stores are vacating or what, but I certainly need to start looking for some more inventory soon to keep this ball rolling.....

I believe you Jim, it's been quiet upstairs for a while now so something must be coming. The million $ question is what are we getting. Hopefully we can do well & have it be because we're stealing business from other sites & not dividing up the sales of departed sellers. The demand is definitely out there for CCL to grab.

Actually I beleive Jim. He has been straight up with me, and actually quite helpful. I know the site wasn't set to scale as it could have but we all get to badger them for the features we want, even if it takes a long time to impliment. They (CCL) LISTEN to us. It is more than I can say for Feebay, Amazon, Etc. I may not always agree, but I think they are pretty solid about it.

Please don't get me wrong Jim is a nice guy. Heck at one time I had a monthly pull from him before he stopped doing it. I also have no reason not to beleive Jim, but when CCL first starter you always saw Joe on the boards & then its like he vanished. Then we started to see Steve around the forums in now you really don't see him anymore. To me it just seems more & more people are leaving the site & stores are closing. I'll keep my fingers crossed & hope for the best.

It's true that a couple high-profile stores have closed, but the user base/membership is always increasing. I'm constantly filling orders from and communicating with brand new members.

Well I hope it comes sooner then the end of the year, if I dont make enough sales to cover the monthly cost, I will close my store as well. Traffic is the only thing I think is really lacking on this site, around 90k users/sellers/members to me is way to low especially since theres how many people on the planet with internet lol.

For now, CCL is still the best place to get comics online, and it still has a great community. However, that stock of comics and that community seems to be getting smaller and smaller and I'm starting to wonder if it's only a matter of time now. I really hope not. And for now, I'm having faith because this truly has been (not just sucking up here, truth) the best comic buying site and best comic community on the web for me.

i agree with doom 100% but the community is shrinking quit a bit... theres only a small handful now and member getting banned etc... i think theres a huge need for more advertisement
