Anyone else reading this origin story? Issue #2 was just released yesterday.

I'm not sure I like this. It almost feels like Thanos is being re-written into another character. Yes, Thanos is in love with Death and kills to please her, but he never came off as a sociopath, so much as he was power-hungry. In this, he comes off more as Cletus Kasady (Carnage's host) than he does Thanos.

Thoughts on this?

how's the art?

i was never completely 'happy' with Bianchi on Wolverine, curious about how it works in the cosmic setting. the promo's look pretty nice.

The art is very cool looking, IMO. Thanos comes off looking VERY alien.

I thought the first issue was good, but I definitely see what you're saying, Nate. It does seem like he's altering Thanos' roots here.
