Here's the new trailer for Echo:

Looks pretty good to me. I have always said that Vincent D'Onofrio is the perfect Kingpin.

Here's a couple more trailers.

Marvel Studios' Echo | Official Trailer | Disney+ and Hulu

Really looking forward to this! I have always thought that Vinny D is the perfect Kingpin. He's got the look, he's got the swagger, he is Wilson Fisk. I'm hoping that Charlie Cox is in it at some point, can't see how he wouldn't be.

Um....you did watch the trailers, right?

Based on all the promo material, you'd think the show was called "Kingpin." As much as I like the grittier Kingpin, the trailers aren't putting a lot of faith in the actual lead of the show.

Also, didn't Kevin Feige say the Disney version of Daredevil isn't the same as the Netflix version, despite having the same actors? Yet that last trailer has lots of imagery from the Netflix show. Weird, weird. Hey, if it's a course correction, though, I'm all for it.

Yes I did and I hate to break it to you Corey but there was a distinct lack of Charlie Cox in there! Big Grin Daredevil was in a 5-7 minute scene in the first episode (which was a flashback to before the Hawkeye series) and that was it. Not that I;m complaining, it was an Echo show not a Daredevil show.

It was very short, just a little over three hours between 5 episodes. Not bad, most of the action took place in Oklahoma on an Indian reservation with some flashbacks to New York and some extreme flashbacks to 1,000 years ago or so. I liked it alright. The acting was good and the story was acceptable. It looked more like a Netflix show than an MCU show. I guess they might use her character again at some point.

There was a lot of reading as the actress playing Echo (Alaqua Cox) is deaf in real life so they did a lot of sign language. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Overall, I liked it. It felt very much like a bridge show, linking the Netflix side to the MCU. I suppose if they want to make the Netflix shows cannon, they have to link them somehow, and they chose Echo to do it. I think Echo is a very interesting character and hope to see more of her.
