To me battlefield the maps are huge where cod maps are small
Also in battlefield you can make squads up to 4 players 3 might be larger in when you die you can spawn off anyone on your squad that is still alive.
You also have all kinds of vehicles you can drive or fly. Also if you knife someone you get there dog tags with there name on it. To me battlefield is more of a team game due to the maps being so big where cod is more close quaters battles.
This is spot on. Just to add on to Bobafett's post, you can choose a class to benefit your squad. Example: you can be a medic. Another player gets hit, you can revive him/his health and both of you get points for working together.
For me, I like the pace that Battlefield uses. I enjoy that you are rewarded for working as a team/squad. The better the cooperation the more you are rewarded. You’ll find that even when someone isn’t mic’d, they will work with you because it benefits them. COD can seem unorganized and a giant free for all even in the team matches.
Camping is ok in Battlefield. In COD you will get cursed for being a sniper. I’m not going to run around with a .50 cal rifle.
In COD, team kills happen way too much because people aren’t on the same page and the maps are smaller. Even though we all know this, you still have teammates killing each other back and forth out of spite. This usually leads to innocent bystanders getting caught in cross fire from 2 jerks.
The huge spread out maps of Battlefield gives you more creative freedom in how you play. The weapons are balanced. Example: if you’ve ever fired a weapon, you know the further it is the higher you aim. Battlefield accounts for that. I can’t get a 200+ yd kill with a .45.
I can see what people like in both. But for me, running around aimlessly match after match gets boring. If you're on the fence, try thr free beta.
