So I've noticed that these are all messed up. Messed up in a way that is beyond my capacity to fix. I'll try to explain the problem.

There are curretnly three specific cover titles in the database:
Ninja High School Annual
Ninja High School Yearbook (1988)
Ninja High School Yearbook (1989)

First things first. There is no such title as NHS Annual. Issues 12-15 have annual on the cover, but yearbook in the indicia. So that cover title should be invalidated and those four issues should be absorbed into the 1989 cover title. The 1989 cover title should actually consist of 20 issues from Antarctic Press . One issue a year from 1989 - 2008.

The 1988 cover title should have the year changed to 1993 and should only consist of 1 issue from Eternity which is currently the #1 issue in that cover title meaning all the other issues listed there should be invalidated.

Hopefully this all makes sense. The database has all 20 of the 1989 series split up between three different cover titles.

I sent this as a message to SwiftMan to get his thoughts. He said he didn't have much time to work on it and suggested I bring it here for others to weigh in on. He did mention that the four books in the Annual cover title shouldn't be invalidated just yet as some stores may have them for sale under this title. I checked and yes, there are some for sale.

This isn't going to be a simple task, but is something that should be addressed. I had recently obtained a handful of these and got majorly confused when I tried to add them to my database.

Makes total sense. I may have some time tomorrow to work on this. Here's what will need to happen. First, we'll need to alert anyone who has one of the issues we'll be invalidating for sale that they'll need to delist and relist with the corrected issue. Next we'll need to add the issues to the correct title. Then we'll invalidate the bad issues and point them at the correct ones. Last, we'll edit the Eternity title and invalidate the incorrect Antarctic title and point it at the correct one. It's a long process and the only saving grace is that most of the credits aren't filled in so that's a lot less work. Thanks for the info and pointing this out.

Comics.org suggests that the 2003 book is titled NHS Annual. Can anyone confirm this? If it is, should it be listed separately or as part of the overall series?

This is one of the four issues with Annual on the cover and Yearbook in the indicia. I don't have this particular issue, but I have the other three and they all have Yearbook in the indicia.

So use this info how you see fit. Hopeful someone will be able to tell us for certain.

Looks like a couple of people have this for sale. I may be able to get one of them to check.

The 1989 title has been updated with all 20 issues. All the duplicate issues that had no copies for sale in the other 2 titles have been invalidated at this point.

Next step will be to contact the sellers and tell them about relisting their books. Once that has been done, we'll move on to invalidating the rest of the duplicate issues.

Update:

The NHS Annual title and all issues are completely invalidated and pointing at the correct title and issues.

The NHS Yearbook 1988 title has been renamed to Ninja High School Yearbook 1993, the publisher has been corrected, and all but 2 issues have been invalidated. The last of the stores have been contacted and those issues will be invalidated soon.

The NHS Yearbook 1989 title is complete and all invalid issues from the other 2 titles are pointing to the correct issues in this title.
