After watching Batman Under the Red Hood I felt the need to read some older batman stories, in particular the fist instance where The Red Hood appeared in Batman's life. How comics have evolved from the early fifties and now! But at the same time, how characters have remained true to themselves during this time; a credit to the DC Universe continuity for characters such as Batman, Robin and the Joker. We see batman as a criminologist teacher solving a decades old crime. The insanity of the Joker is tame in comparison to darker images of this terrifying crime lord as featured in later Batman adventures. It was a nice walk in memory lane.
