Issue three continues to build on this suprisingly good series. Rick Remender is doing a fine job of capturing Doctor Voodoo's struggles as the Marvel Universe's newest Sorceror Supreme. Palo and Hardman's art is very well suited to the story, and issue three has the added bonus of a beautiful Marko Djurdjevic cover.
As Voodoo's struggles against Nightmare continue, he is aided by Damien Hellstrom. Hellstrom is quickly becoming a favourite of mine based on hsi recent appearances in this book and the New Avengers. Once again, the ever brooding Dr. Doom makes his presence known. On top of it all we are treated to a mini showdown between two of the Ghost Riders and Brother Voodoo. Throw in a fight with The Hood, and we have many of the magic heavyweights in attendance.
This is a qulaity read each month, which means it probably won't last past 15 issues.
