This comic just about represented the breaking point for me. SEIGE: Storming Asgard: Heroes and Villains was almost the comic that made me stop buying comics! Sure it was mostly my own fault for not leafing through this 30 page piece of garbage before buying it, but Marvel needs to shoulder some of the blame.
I have enjoyed the early stages of the SIEGE storyline, so I was inclined to pick up this book , which I thought was an actual story. Like I mentioned earlier, I didn’t flip through it first. I rarely do to tell you the truth. What a mistake! This was not a story at all. Instead, it was set up the same as the FREE SAGA books which accompany most story arcs. Unlike the SAGA books though, this issue was not free! In fact, it was 3.99!
Do yourself a favour, don’t even pick this book up off the shelf to browse it. It is a bunch of recycled art coupled with some really poorly written character blurbs set up as top secret H.A.M.M.E.R. files. Absolute garbage and I am a moron for paying for it.
