Let's get this straight. If you like Kick-Ass, then this issue will blow your mind. Simple.
The first page of this comic is seriously messed up. It's something I've never seen in a comic before. Not like that.
This issue is where the story takes it's biggest twist yet, and it should soon lead on to the bits where Kick-Ass was being tortured in #1. That was the second half of the issue.
The first half, however, was equally as awesome! You got shown the history and origins of Hit-Girl & Big Daddy. It was written so well, that it actually made me care more about them than it did Kick-Ass himself. It was written in such a powerful way, there was real emotion in their relationship and you could completely understand their origins and sympathise with them both, even if their ways are a little extreme.
This whole issue was written brilliantly, in terms of the backstory here, and the main plot at hand. The plot and the dialouge were both amazing. And I mean 'amazing'.
What happen's with Red Mist, is seriously exciting at the end! Wowza.
Great artwork here as well! This is JRjr at his very best!
