Ok, so I was a bit suprised by this one too. This was actually better then what I thought. The art work alone is very beautiful and stunning. The art team here should be praised. The problem for me is the ho-hum run of the mill story. Yet another generic superhero story.
The larger problem (or one that could be a problem), is the Flash is one of a few people who remember what happened in the old universe (see Flashpoint #5 (which wasn't that good - be warned). I just wonder how the Flash will use his knowledge or memories of the old universe in the new. Just saying is all. Then again, I'm not a big continuity fan anyway as long as there's a good story, so who cares? Right?
All in all - beautiful art, average story - 3/5.
