52 REVIEW - Grifter, Really?

I don't know why DC decided of all of the Wildstorm titles Grifter was the of the best three old titles (Stormwatch and Voodoo the other two) to bring back. This book very much feels like it's still taking place in the Image/Wildstorm universe.

The story however was actually good. A bit uneven and choppy, but it was interesting. It starts off with a cool action sequence on a plane but ends a bit odd to me with Grifter putting on his lame mask. I can see this series becoming really good depending on how Grifter reacts to his missing 17 minutes, days or hours (not sure which one it's supposed to be since all three time periods were mentioned in the story - (editing mistake perhaps?))...

All in all - uneven story, with potential. Good start - 3.5/5
