Reboot rant (things that make your head expload if you think about it to much):
Before the reboot Dick Grayson was Robin, then Nightwing, then Batman, then Nightwing again, then Batman again (and I might have missed a few). Now he's Nightwing again and de-aged. Though in this comic he's adult size, but in Batman #1 he looks like a teenager. But then again who really knows in what time period this book and Batman #1 takes place. So teenage looking Dick Grayson, the first Robin in five years of Batman training Robins must of been like 10 when he was trained, but for how long did Batman train him, since Batman is now on Robin 4? Uggghhhh - Head exploading....
Again, all of this is why I never really care about continuity as long as the story rocks. As for the story in Nightwing #1 - it's ok at best. At the very least it's a readable introduction to Nightwing. He patrols Gotham, does some circus stuff, and is attacked by a bad guy... Yep nothing special.
All in all - Nightwing returns to doing the same boring things he did before - 2.5/5.
