The Serenity story is gorgeous! A brilliant love letter to the fans. So very well done.
I'm not a Hellboy reader so the story, while intriguing, seemed to have some subtle nuances that went over my head.
The Alien story is just an extended advertisement/prequel (?) for a new Alien series.
