Plutonian continues to stay in character, bad character. Irredeemable #18 develops a new twist to the anti-hero's containment strategy as we are introduced to an alien life form that will play a major role in bringing Plutonian down. Can it be possible that the weakest link in the team may help bring down the mightiest threat humanity has faced. The Hornet has made a deal, reminiscent to the Silver Surfer and Galactus, to satisfy the alien's appetite for worlds in order to save Earth.
Meanwhile, Plutonian is dealing with his side-kick as only Plutonian can; with complete ruthlessness.
I'm really enjoying this series. Mark Waid and Peter Krause have consistently delivered on their promise of a good set of characters in interesting settings, brazing thru the comic field redefining it as they go along its path to glory and redemption.
