For the first time since my conniption fit over Moon Stone becoming Ms. Marvel I felt slightly let down with what I found in the pages of Ms. Marvel.
Sure there is eye candy and a nice spit and polish job but in some ways there is a slight lack of real depth to the story. It feels more like this issue was just spinning its wheels a bit acting as a place holder for the next and final issue of the series.
We learn a little more about the connection between Mystique and the rampaging Mar-Vell look-a-like that is offing his worshipers but other than that nothing so great that it would blow your brain.
I hope that the over sized final issue can recapture the promise and splendor the series shot out of the gate with.
