The last Unicorn #3 continues to deliver on the promise of previous issues. The story of friendship and companionship that the unicorn brings to the Wizard Schmendrick speaks volumes to what is possible with the written word. The art is a combination of Japanese manga and the American Bass/Rankin animations as seen in The Return of the King, and other fantasy titles. The contributing art by Cox shown in the last pages of the comic should be seen in large canvas mounted in a white wall for maximum effect; it’s simple amazing.
