A great stand alone issue

It's probably because I love characters like Ultra-Boy, who are powerful but have a major weakness, but this is one of my favorite books in this incarnation of the Legion of Super-Heroes. It's a murder mystery with Ultra-Boy in the unlikely role of detective. The best parts are when he is confronting the Legion, specifically against the "stronger" characters Superboy and Mon-El. The art is terrific with Jim Starlin being inked by Joe Rubenstein, a rare combination. A great starting point for anyone who wants to get acquainted with 70s LoSH.
