Well, finally a breath of fresh air after a number of months of stink! This book has been substandard over the past 3 or 4 issues. Tony's re-accent to fame has been an absolute snore fest. All that however, changes here in issue #30.
Sasha Hammer finally tips her hand while out on a "date" of sorts with Tony. What starts off as Tony wanting to crash the car to get away from this psychotic minx turns into her crashing the car to try and kill Tony.
Being fully aware that the Hammers were up to something, Tony didn't quite realize Sasha had taken it quite this far.
With plot revealed, I can honestly say I am impressed. I like the villain now, their evil plan is psychotic and contemporary and even Pepper as Iron Girl didn't bother me.
So as strange as it sounds, I really liked this issue. Even Larocca's art wasn't too bad. So don't give up on the Golden Avenger just yet. The best may be yet to come!
