So here we are are, beginning a new chapter in the X-Men's history. Hope is back and cerebro has indicated five new "lights" or mutant births around the globe. And to be honest, I don't know what to think.
I am praying that Hope Summers grows on me, because so far, I don't really like her. And I am sure that this is not the intention of all the writers who have developed her character over the past couple of years.
In this issue the X-Men split up to keep an eye on the five lights. Only one of the five lights is revealed, and she proves to be a bit of an anomoly in comparison to the emergence of mutants in the past. Could this be a further evolution of the X-gene?
The unfortunate thing about this issue was that the added story in the back was better than the main story. I only pray that Magneto starts recruiting a new Brotherhood, and that Wicaan and Speed are given a bigger spotlight, because they are great characters that are under utilized in the Marvel U.
