Issue two of Skaar: Son Of Hulk was just as good as it's amazing previous first issue I personally believe, but for different reasons.
I would also like to point out that this issue has one of the coolest cover's I've seen at Marvel for a while, it seems like DC are getting all the cool covers, so it's about time Marvel got some! Hah!
This issue picks up directly from where #1 left off, with the confrontation between Skaar and the main nemesis of the book; Axeman Bone.
This issue does great jobs for the characterisation of these 2 characters, who play big parts in the issues to come (as I have read up to #5 now), so this issue is vital as it gets you familiar with how these characters think, and how tough these two main characters are.
It's safe to say this issue see's it's fair share of brutal fight scenes, and I'm not going to deny, it was pretty darn awesome to read! It made for a highly entertaining issue!
The artwork was equally as awesome, just as it was in the first issue.
This issue was really cool in my opinion because some of the bad guys ride dragons! And this artist draws some bad-ass looking dragons.
This issue was solid, well written and had great artwork. It still has that awesome Conan vibe, and it gets better in future issues let me tell you!
