Have you taken a second, sat down and looked at the way Joe Wight draws an issue of The Last Zombie yet? I am guessing if your reading this you probably haven’t so lets start simple. PICK UP THIS BOOK! Not that the art is the only thing going for it, but this issue is full of action, death and fire. And if you didn’t know, when you mix them all up you get one GORE-Geous book. One last thing, and this is the last time I will mention it, I hate the E’s in the lettering.

I didn’t know what to really expect with this series. I honestly figured we might be following the final zombie on Earth, but instead this series treated me to a story of survival and how it may never be over. So with this issue we wrap up the first chapter or arc, and I have to say wow! This is not what I was expecting but I loved every second of it. The dialogue is great, the story flows so well from page to page, that before you know it, it’s over. This issue was the perfect way to wrap up the first story and leave that sense or mystery and danger to get me to come back again for more.

This issue was a great wrap up of the first arc. With stunning visuals and a story that just drives it home time and time again, I can not wait for the next story arc to begin. There is a great secret within the cast that should come to a head with the next arc starting soon. Plain and simple Keene and Wright are nailing this book issue after issue.
