i tried to stay away from The Wednesday Comics but finally I had to give them a try. The concept is ingenious enough; bring a weekly comic series that has many comics one-page-at-a-time, hook the audience and you will have them back week after week and possibly picking up more than just this comic but many more. I'm not sure if it worked this way, but the concept is smart. Now lets see if the execution was as good as the initial idea.
There are definite jewels in this collection. The art in Kamandi, Superman, Strange Adventures, Sgt. Rock and Hawkman are exceptional. The writing in Batman, Kamandi, Deadman, and Demon & Catwoman are exquisite.
All the stories have their charm bringing the best of DC in one collection is a treat.
