#2 totally blows #1 out the water! Man, this issue was so awesome!
Now I didnt think the first issue was all that amazing (good yes, but nothing overwhelming), but this second issue is the turning point.
This is where we are starting to see some REAL story development and some real teasers for upcoming issues! This is where the series starts to get creepy, mysterious and turns into one heck of a thrillride!
The writting in this issue is amazing on all fronts, and I mean it. We have some really great narrative points between family members, which works to a great effect along with the sweet art!
We have some real character building dialouge, especially between Toby and his parents here, we start too see some real emotional connection which lets you get a more deep understanding as too who these characters really are.
The dialouge between Toby & The Hulk (no real spoiler) was just funny! Done very well!
We start to see more monster & villain mayhem let loose here with no signs of things getting any better! This is gripping stuff! No kidding!
The artwork is so darn good, like I said with the previous issue. The artwork adds to the creepy atmosphere and gets you mentally drawn into the book!
The artwork goes hand in hand with the writting, also like I said about the previous issue!
All in all, this issue combined with #1 is the perfect kick-off point for the series!
#1 is nothing without #2!A REAL MUST READ, THIS IS DARN AWESOME!
